In 2020, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Aadiel, our founder, took the bold step of starting his practice by offering home visit physiotherapy. Balancing his time between working at a practice in the mornings and treating patients in their homes in the afternoons, Aadiel’s commitment to his patients quickly became the cornerstone of Synergy Physiotherapy.

As the world began to recover from the pandemic, Aadiel recognized a growing demand for high-quality physiotherapy beyond just COVID-19 recovery. With this realization, he expanded his services, ultimately moving to a dedicated clinic in the south of Johannesburg. There, he treated a diverse range of patients and conditions, building a reputation for his personalized approach to care.

Driven by a passion for excellence and accessibility, Aadiel relocated Synergy Physiotherapy to Greenside. Here, the practice flourished, offering both outpatient physiotherapy and continued home visit services. Aadiel also began working closely with patients at Wits Donald Gordon Medical Centre, further expanding the practice’s reach.

In 2022, Synergy Physiotherapy took a significant step forward by partnering with the Emmarentia Pirates Soccer Club. Aadiel established a high-performance program for the club, focusing on injury prevention and athletic development. This program not only enhanced the players’ performance but also reinforced Synergy Physiotherapy’s commitment to proactive healthcare and community engagement.

By 2024, Aadiel identified another vital need for physiotherapy services in the Parktown area. This led to the opening of a second branch at the prestigious La Casa Verde Haematology Centre. This new location, featuring an in-house biokineticist, further underscores Synergy Physiotherapy’s dedication to holistic, patient-centered care.
